Just spreading some love for another local fiber arts related organization…
If you’ve never been to a fiber festival, I encourage you to check one out. They’re a great way to explore new fibers, patterns and techniques; learn where fiber comes from and how it’s processed; and support independent artists and farmers who love sharing their wares. AND we’re fortunate to have one only 45 minutes away!
Carolina FiberFest 2014 is a three day event full of fiber fun for all of you weavers, knitters, crocheters, and spinners. With over 40 vendors, 20+ classes and various demonstrations it’s perfect for all ages.
Classes taught by local talent like Esther Rodgers, Mari Chiba, Rohn Strong, Melissa Ricks, Nancy Shroyer to name a few, as well as Donna Druchunas are sure to delight all levels. Class registration is LIVE! Register today to reserve your space.
