The Elvis Smoothie

Elvis loved peanut butter and bananas, and I’ve become quite fond of the combination too. On a hot spring or summer day there’s nothing better than a cold smoothie in the afternoon.

Servings: 4
Serving Size: 8 ounces
Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups coconut milk
1/4 cup old-fashion oats
1 ripe banana
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 tablespoons honey
1 1/2 cups ice

Guidelines
Place all ingredients in a blender. Puree until smooth. Pour into four glasses and drink immediately.

Tip
For those of you who are not fans of texture in your drinks, pour just the milk and oats in the blender and let sit for 15 minutes before adding the remaining ingredients.
